SUMMARY: The Government has launched an infrastructure initiative aimed at improving rural connectivity and boosting agricultural productivity in 81 oilseeds-producing districts. Through the National Oilseeds Project (NOSP), the Ministry of Local Government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, is constructing and rehabilitating community access roads to improve transport links for farmers.
