SUMMARY: Uganda’s economy is set to get a big boost following the approval of new budgets for oil and gas companies by the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU). According to PAU, the sector regulator, deals worth $4b (about UGX14.3 trillion) in the oil and gas sector have been cleared for contracting between this year and early 2027.
