Muhoozi Kainerugaba, yesterday met with the Canadian defence advisor to Uganda, Col Todd Braithwaite, at the Special Forces Command (SFC) headquarters in Entebbe. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral military co-operation between Uganda and Canada. Col. Braithwaite thanked Gen. Kainerugaba for the meeting, describing it as a rare and valuable opportunity.

SUMMARY: Uganda has been elected to lead the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Council for the next three years, following a vote at the 42nd session of the Assembly in Montreal, Canada. The milestone was reached after Uganda secured 155 out of the 185 votes cast by ICAO member states at the global gathering, which began on September 23.
