3 June 2024: The Chief of Staff-Air Force, Brigadier General David Gonyi, has highlighted the importance of regional integration for the survival of Eastern Africa Standby Force member states.
He was officiating at a 14-day Battlegroup Commanders’ Course, aiming to enhance interoperability and promote regional integration.
The course provides essential skills for tactical planning during peacekeeping operations. Participants include Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, Comoros, Djibouti, Somalia, Ethiopia, and Sudan.
