Summary: The Attorney General, Kiryowa Kiwanuka, has launched the Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) guidelines which streamline the cooperation between Uganda and other countries in handling of transboundary crimes. The guidelines include a procedure for making a mutual legal assistance request, which should be in writing and clearly state the nature of the request, the relevant legal provisions and the purpose of the assistance being sought.

Summary: The First Lady, who is also the Minister of Education and Sports, Hon.Janet Museveni, has called on the youth to steer clear of sexual immorality, corruption and drug abuse. She highlighted that these issues negatively impact young people, exacerbated by the current era of digitalisation.
Mrs. Museveni made the remarks during the 17th-anniversary celebration of Incredible Youth International, an organisation dedicated to equipping and mentoring youth into responsible adults.
