SUMMARY: The demand for employable skills in Uganda has attracted more Senior Six leavers to seek for admission into Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges, as opposed to universities. This year, a total of 50,918 Senior Six leavers, including those with at least two principal passes, will be competing for 6,000 government slots at TVET colleges across the country.
