SUMMARY: President Yoweri Museveni has promised to stop the unfair traffic penalties known as Fine Issuance System (FIS), an automated version of the Express Penalty Scheme (EPS) that was recently enforced against motorists exceeding speed limits. He promised to waive off the accumulated fines.

SUMMARY: For Uganda’s schools, academics is often the only priority. President Yoweri Museveni insists that is no longer acceptable. “No school should be licensed without a sports field,” warned the Head of State during last Wednesday’s dinner with the Uganda Cranes at Entebbe.
