SUMMARY: “NRM is not just promising; it is also presenting what has already been done,” he said, pointing out peace and development as the ruling party’s biggest achievements. “In the last 40 years, we first brought peace, and then development came in two parts: economic infrastructure such as roads, electricity, water, telephones, and the railway; and social infrastructure such as schools and health centres,” the President said.

SUMMARY: The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) of Uganda has instructed government schools to recruit qualified procurement officers to manage their procurement and disposal activities. This directive aims to improve compliance, transparency, and value for money in the Educational institutions.

SUMMARY: With weeks to the 2025 deadline for the UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals, the country has achieved remarkable progress; 94% of people living with HIV know their status, 90% are on treatment and 96% have suppressed the virus.
