Summary: A syndicate of nearly four financial institutions have agreed to extend a loan of about UGX. 479b to the Government to design and build the Lusalira-Nkonge-Lumegere-Ssembabule road. The road is located in the Central Region and connects the Districts of Ssembabule and Mubende. The 10-year loan will upgrade the 97km stretch and improve access to key agricultural areas, urban markets, healthcare and education.
