Summary: In an effort to fight forgery of titles and fraudulent land registration, the lands ministry has imposed restrictions on access to land registry that cover its staff as well as the public. The restrictions were placed in order to secure land titles in this era of cybercrime as the land registry moves to embrace full-scale computerisation.

Summary: The Government has finally launched the construction of the road stretch from Koboko to Moyo via Yumbe District. The 103km road that serves as the major trade route in the West Nile region linking the three districts of Koboko, Yumbe and Moyo, is currently in a state of sorrow owing to numerous potholes.
