Summary: The Chinese dragon boat festival has been celebrated in Uganda with a boat race on Lake Victoria at Kawuku in Entebbe, Wakiso district. The festival is a traditional Chinese holiday marked on the fifth day of the fifth month on the Chinese lunar calendar, which usually happens between June 8-10, each year.
