Summary: The first batch of pipes that are to be used for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) construction have been delivered to Uganda. The pipes, measuring to a total of 21km, will be stationed at the Main Camp and Pipe Yard Four in Kyotera District ahead of their laying next month. Delivered on Friday, the pipes were coated and insulated in Tanzania before they were sent to Uganda.
