Summary: Today, the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), now the sole importer of petroleum products in Uganda, will receive its first batch of fuel at Kipevu Oil Terminal II in Mombasa, Kenya. The deal, which has dragged on for half a year, will see the national oil company import at least 80,000 metric tonnes of petrol and diesel as its first batch.
