#CitizenBaraza: The Oil Crisis in Uganda

Must Read

Over the last few days, fuel prices have soared in Uganda, following the truck drivers’ protest against high costs of COVID tests at Malaba and Busia border posts.

Most motorists have resorted to other means of transport including walking to work and cycling while most manufacturing plants that depend mainly on diesel have asked workers to stay home until the crisis is resolved.

Ugandans don’t know exactly what is happening or how to apportion the blame among Ministry of Health, URA and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development.

GCIC’s Deputy Director, Duncan Abigaba hosts the Principal Public Relations Officer – Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development , Solomon Muyita to discuss the Fuel Crisis in Uganda.
